Empowerment through Education
The Finch Collective of Justice and Advocacy, LLC., through Executive Director, has spent years developing the curriculum for "the Life Law Core." The Life Law Core is a comprehensive community empowerment program to teach basic legal literacy to under served communities. Through a series of presentations on topics like Family , Criminal, Immigration and Tenant's rights, the LIfe Law Core will give everyday people the ability to identify a legal wrong, advocate for their rights, and know the point when they need to seek legal counsel moving forward. Dates will be updated as we find a community partner to assist in scheduling and hosting these events.

Immigration Application Assistance
The Finch Collective of Justice and Advocacy is happy to offer assistance for persons seeking help filling out their immigration applications. We have persons experienced in the immigration process that can help answer questions about the process, application and what to expect in an immigration hearing.
Community Mediation
Mediation is a tool for alternative dispute resolution that can reach long lasting agreements if both parties are vulnerable, honest, and committed to the process. Since both parties play an active role throughout mediation, both parties tend to be more genuinely invested in the process. So long as the case is appropriate for mediation and the parties willing to reach a reconciliation, mediation is the best option to educate and empower the participants.
Legal Protector for Protests
Protests are a right for every citizen in this country. However, in the current political climate, its important to make sure that you're exercising your right in the most legally protected way possible. Through our Legal Protector service, the Finch Collective will assist in obtaining the proper permits and permissions to ensure your protest assembly can lawfully assemble. The Finch Collective will also attend the protest to serve as a point of contact for local agency's, compliance with local laws, and a third party witness for any retaliatory action.
Wills and Power of Attorney Assistance
No one wants to think about it, but its important to have a plan should something unexpected and unwanted happen. The Finch Collective has experience helping people prepare for times when the most important decisions need to be made. The Finch Collective offers low cost assistance helping people prepare power of attorneys for those individuals who may need help making medical or financial decisions. The Finch Collective can also assist in helping people write Final Wills and Testaments so that their wishes are preserved and honored in the event of their death.
